HWPAF - PAF Style Humbucker

HWPAF Bridge pick up - The HWPAF is a pickup that is wound to give an even tonal balance and a fat sound!   This is our version of the renowned Gibson PAF Humbucker.  This pickup is rich sounding with nice clean highs and sounds massive when its distorted. 

HWPAF Neck pick up -  The HWPAF is a pickup that is wound to give an even tonal balance and a fat sound! Smooth and creamy flavour to the sound and it really comes alive when overdriven.

Construction

The HWPAF has 1 Alnico 5 bar magnet and is wound with 42 gauge poly wire for an authentic tone, with around 5,000 winds of copper wire per bobbin.  The pickup is created to reject noise and 60Hz hum from electrical equipment.  The pickup has also been wax potted in the traditional way, to eliminate microphonic feedback.  

Sound

The HWPAF pickup is rich sounding with nice clean highs and fat mids, it sounds massive when its distorted.  If you add Fuzz and this pick up just sings and will sustain for days.

You have a choice of either with or without chrome covers for this pickup.

The CDFM High Gain Humbucker

The CDFM Bridge pickup is a  high gain humbucker pick up for the player who wants a no compromise high gain sound without the hum!  This pickup really rocks and sounds fantastic with over drive, distortion or fuzz. This pickup works particularly well for heavier styles of music.

The CDFM Neck pickup  is a  high gain humbucker pick up for the player who wants a no compromise high gain sound without the hum!  This pickup really rocks and sounds fantastic with over drive, distortion or fuzz. This pickup works particularly well for heavier styles of music. The neck pickup gives you a high gain and smooth rich sound. 

Construction

The CDFM is constructed of Alnico 5 bar magnets and 43 gauge wire to gain a higher output.  This pickup has around 6,000 winds of copper wire on each bobbin.   The pickup is created to reject noise and 60Hz hum from electrical equipment.  The pickup has also been wax potted in the traditional way, to eliminate microphonic feedback.  

Sound

The CDFM is an aggressive sounding high gain pickup that, pushes the front end of the amp with more punch than the HWPAF.  This is a great choice for modern rock, metal sounds and high gain playing.  This pick up really comes to life when  overdrive, distortion or fuzz are added.

The OHB Open sounding Humbucker

The OHB Bridge Pickup has a more open and uncompressed sound than the other Humbuckers in our range and I really love the character of this pickup.  This pickup is great for playing styles such as Jazz and Blues.

The OHB Neck Pickup has a more open and uncompressed sound than the other Humbuckers in our range and I really love the character of this pickup.  This pickup is well suited to Jazz with its open sound.

The OHB uses in the region of 5,000 winds of 42 gauge poly wire and alnico 2 bar magnets to create its signature sound.   The pickup is created to reject noise and 60Hz hum from electrical equipment.  The pickup has also been wax potted in the traditional way to eliminate microphonic feedback. 

Sound

The OHB sounds open inviting warm and has a really nice tonal balance.  Great for playing Jazz and blues style and this pick up sings when overdrive is added.
